Moylans Brewing Co., (Novato, CA)
In 1995 Moylan’s Brewing Co. opened at Rowland Plaza, bringing Novato into the ranks of other world class brew towns like Portland, Oregon and Seattle, Washington, by claiming the rights to its own microbrewery, thanks to bay area native Brendan Moylan. The 44 year old co-owner of Marin Brewing Company in Larkspur, Brendan brought more than 28 years of brewing experience to Novato, which began with his first home brewing kit one year after college
Burren House
The Burren House Irish Pub & Kitchen is located at 925 4th Street in San Rafael. This is a new addition to our list of Irish restaurants in Marin and it is quickly becomming a favorite. MIAC recently sponsored an evening at the Burren House and everyone who attended agreed it was fun with great Irish food. You will see more events scheduled at this restaurant in the future.
The Club Restaurant at McInnis
We hold our annual Christmas Party and our annual Scholarship Dinner at the Club Restaurant. We have also held other events there including our sponsored evening with the Irish Consul-General. Great food, great atmosphere and great people make this our go-to place for events and individual dining.
La Toscana
We include this family owned local Italian hangout because it has been and continues to be the restaurant of choice for MIAC events and Board meetings. La Toscana is a proud sponsor of our annual Irish Soda Bread Contest!
